AISATS Appoints Ramanathan Rajamani as CEO, Marking His Second Tenure

Air India SATS Airport Services Private Limited (AISATS), India’s leading airport services management company, has announced the appointment of Ramanathan Rajamani as its Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 14, 2024. With over two decades of experience in leadership, innovation, and operational excellence, Mr. Ramana returns to the role he previously held from 2018 to 2021.

A Journey of Leadership and Innovation

Mr. Ramana began his career in 2001 as an engineer with the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA), where he contributed to ensuring the reliability of fighter jets for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). In 2006, he joined Indeco Engineers, where he successfully managed turnkey projects for both commercial and military ground operations.

In 2011, he transitioned to SATS Ltd., where his expertise in innovation and leadership earned him notable accolades. Under his guidance, a SATS subsidiary won Singapore’s National Productivity Award in 2016, a prestigious recognition for operational efficiency and innovation. Over the years, Mr. Ramana held various key roles, including:

  • CEO of AISATS (2018–2021): Leading operations in India’s growing aviation market.
  • CEO of SATS Security Services (Singapore): Overseeing security operations with a focus on excellence.
  • Head of Projects & New Services Delivery (Asia-Pacific): Driving innovative projects across the region.

Academic Credentials

Mr. Ramana is a highly qualified professional with degrees in Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Science in Logistics from the National University of Singapore. Additionally, he holds an Executive MBA from Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
